Perth College

Country kids take up the Challenge

246 views 2 months ago
Twelve girls in Years 5 and 6 travelled from across Western Australia to spend the Australia Day long weekend at Perth College.

Staying in the Boarding House, they got a taste of life as a boarder in preparation for their secondary education. Activities across the School grounds included an Art lesson with Si Hummerston, Music with Sofie Cumming, and sport in the gym. The girls loved learning the maze-like layout of the Boarding House and quickly made friends, gaining confidence to stay away from home and undertake new challenges.

Head of Boarding, Judy Parker, organised the inaugural PC Challenge to reassure girls and their parents about boarding school and provide a sneak peek into the opportunities available at Perth College.
