Joe Hotham, known as Detroit's blue collar artist, is an award winning Author & Poet, Actor, Screen-writer, Stuntman and Trucker who was born and raised in the River Rouge and Ecorse sections on Detroit's south side. He now resides in southeastern Michigan along the shores of Lake Erie, in Monroe County, where he is invested and works within the trucking trade and the arts of literature, film and tattoo.

The fiction styles he indulges in writing include; thriller, suspense, drama, mystery and a bit of sci-fi. Thus far the words being thrown about to describe his writing style are... natural, mysterious, dark, original, rebellious, wild and seductive. Comparisons are being made with the names of the late Edgar Allen Poe, Jim Morrison and William Blake attached.
He also writes self help, motivational works in which he also speaks to troubled youth and local Detroiters.
