This reminds me of a kata we do in my style of karate, Tora Kai Shito Ryu. It's called Hinan Shodan. The moves are slightly different but the directions are basically the same.

@LeigonWarrior Technically, the very first FPS was created in 1979 in Palo Alto, California. Its name was Maze War and it was for the Alto Xerox. It had multiplayer too.
