@ Brightstar27 : Jesus Christ has no power. Do you see jezus christ anywhere here? No. He was once a man on earth and he died. He is gone since then.
People use believes to justify, hope, wait etc.... You let people fill in what god is, because you have adapted what people have said about who god is. Who wrote the bible? people did. Does the god in the bible is a good god and true? You dont know, and evil god may have written it to trap you, because in the bible the god is sadistical.

So your actually not worshipping god, but worshipping the believes people have about god. your worshipping people. You are worshipping the bible writers because they have written some similar stuff in some books. Does that mean its really god? no. People assume it is, without looking at what the being claiming its "god" in the bible is really doing and saying.

Why should we "put trust" in someone who's been dead 2000 years? I mean, if he came back and proved he was the Son of God, that's another story. The burden of proof is on him. The thing about Religion is that stories can be sold to dupes who want something to believe in. But the promises never come true and nobody lives the Holy Words.l Your Jesus is nothing more than wish-fulfillment.
