I have a '77 Town Car and use 235/75R15, which look great. Factory tires included LR78 (a close equivalent) and 230/75R15, an obsolete size. 225 is too small.
Love it, and if my pristine 1977 Town Car is any guide, such cars are fine to drive - so long as you cruise and don't throw it around sharp corners. Immensely relaxing.
