@EthanJM It is still a string being drawn creating potential engergy that when released changes to kinetic energy that passes into an arrow or bolt sending it at your target.

pretty sure I did 16 inch center's the same as walls can't remember havn't been out at the camp for a couple months. I used 2x6 which I wouldn't sudjest, definetly use 2x8 or 2x10. I was freecycling so used what I had.
