sounds so much like John, but not nearly as good as him. I'm glad this guy didn't name his son "ALF". You could almost hear Freddie doing a great "Come Together." It wasn't just John's great voice, but also this Liverpudlian accent.

From 2004, NFL spoof. Right before the Eagles "4th and 26" game.
@gloriadaves the original video it was taken from was of poor vcr quality, this isn't exactly a 5 minute music video. there are a million you tube videos that were recorded off a television set.

The Elegant Universe - Einstein's Relativity
Einstein's General Theory of Relativity explained.
A relativity author once said that when the moon goes around the earth, the moon "thinks" it's going in a perfectly straight line through space, it's just that the earth's mass warps the space so much, that the moon "can't help" but orbit the earth instead, like a trolley car following a curved t...

If dark forces in the government or mafia wanted to kill Kennedy, why didn't they just do it by having a hit man walk right up to his car, before he turned onto Dealey Plaza, or shoot him when he shook hands with the crowd that morning in Ft. Worth, or behind the airport fence? Maybe Oswald re...

The Doors - Touch Me
Smother Bros. Comedy Hour Performance
Thanks to everyone for making this one of the most watched if not the most watched video of this great group...
I remember going to a Doors concert in 1970. I love all the jazz sounds in The Soft Parade album, and the saxophone and violins in this great song. Nobody else sounded like the Doors. Jim was one of the most original and unique singers/front men that ever lived.

if the final movement was written and then lost, wouldn't people back then have known that and been able to say so later? Schubert was way ahead of his time with this music. This could have been written in 1880. He and his friend Ludwig ushered in the romantic period. A clean break from Hayd...

I am tired of hearing that Bill Haley invented rock and roll. delta bluesmen and blueswomen of the 1920s were recording stuff that by any standard was rock and roll. And Fats was the first to popularize it in 1949 with this fine song.

To the person who sent a video response to this with Poulenc and Schubert, I accidentally hit the 'ignore' button, if you see this, please send it ...
I read that Schubert wrote praising letters to Goethe, but Goethe ignored him. Few people outside of Germany would know about Erlkonig if it wasn't for Schubert making it a song.

Dudley Moore Beethoven Sonata Parody
In this clip from the 1950's-60s British comedy group "Beyond the Fringe," Dudley Moore plays a very funny but also very musically well-done parody...
what is that opening theme? that sounds like a familiar tune I heard as a kid. I think Dudley Moore has shown how composers do it. First, you have to be a great pianist, then you start out with a few simple notes and build the whole movement from that, with variations, and increasing technicali...

Salieri conducted many of Mozart's new works. That tells me he wasn't really like in this movie, which probably takes a whole lot of liberties like Oliver Stone. But it's still an entertaining movie, with good music. Yet it's a shame Salieri's good name is now mud to most people, since this...

The "Salieri killed Mozart" stuff is not true. Salieri willingly conducted many of Mozart's works . Why would he do that if he was insanely jealous of him? But this is still an entertaining movie. I saw it when it came out, and it's still fun to watch these clips. My favorite part is when...

Maher is right, she isn't mean. How long until Palin gets jealous of her? Beau Biden must be mad he quit this race, since he realized there was no way he could beat Mike Castle. Right now he would be way ahead of this lady.
