Demon Bird Productions was founded by Chris Stamnitz. When DBP began, it wasn't defined yet what kind of entertainment it would produce.

Late 2005, Demon Bird Productions started out creating a short, soundless animation series called Fani Gaki. ( http://www.freewebs.com/fan... ) The age of Fani Gaki only produced 4 Fani Gaki episodes and a few other animations. The news on the website stopped being updated on May 19, 2007.

Sometime after, Demon Bird Productions started making short films without the use of any editing with a computer. Most of these films were improvised but some had an early system of scripting. In this phase of Demon Bird Productions, Ninjas with Mail was formed. This series was Ask a Ninja-esk, but was not influenced by it. These short videos were no means professional or quality, but they projected a kind of humor at the very least.

In the Summer of 2007, Demon Bird Productions made it's first somewhat professional short film that included a soundtrack, descent script and a title screen. This was the first film that was completely edited on the computer via Windows Movie Maker. This short film was called The Legend of Black Ninja Part 1. On youtube, this movie is now permanently muted because of copyright infringement. (It used a song by The Turtles.)

Today, Demon Bird Productions produces quality short films that are all influenced by everyday life. From struggling to doodle up a logo on a piece of homework paper in History to creating complex but short videos, Demon Bird Productions has come a long way, but this is still just the beginning. We still have plenty of good ideas and movies waiting to be made in the works.
