I was telling a newspaper editor the other day that I have prepared my entire adult life to be President of the United States. I never in my wildest dreams thought I would run from this platform, "Enemy Combatant" for President. I do nevertheless feel that it is my time. Whatever God has in store. I'm ready!

Right now, seriously I am reluctant to answer any of these questions about my personal interests, what books I read, what movies I like. I have arrived at a place in my life in which I don't give a damn about my personal interests. That honestly means nothing to me. I find the most personal satisfaction helping others. I don't care about me. I seek the power of this office to make a difference, nothing else. Truthfully, that would make me the happiest. To fight for those that can't fight for themselves, to be a voice for those who would not otherwise be heard, that's what I want to do. That's why I am running. I love the people of this country and long to demonstrate that affection. My heart burns within me to fulfill this calling. What does the rest of it all mean.
