Bismillah Al'Rahman Al'Raheem
In the name of Allah the most Beneficent the most merciful.
RAMADHAN MUBARAK !!!
Insha Allah you are all in good health and Emaan.
Ramadhaan has a special relationship with the Quran, as Allah says in the interpretation of the meaning: "The month of Ramadhaan is the one in which the Quran was sent down, a guidance for mankind, clear proofs for the guidance, the Criterion; so whoever amongst you witnesses this month, let him fast it." [Quran 2:185)
Ibn 'Abbaas narrates "that the Messenger of Allaah, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, was the most generous person, and he would be at his most generous in Ramadhaan because Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) would come to him every night and he would rehearse the Quran with him." [Al-Bukhaari]
This hadeeth contains the following recommendations that we can take heed from:

- Studying the Quran in Ramadhaan- Coming together for this purpose
- Checking (one's memory/knowledge of) the Quran with someone who has preserved it better
- Increasing recitation of the Quran in Ramadhaan and
- That the night time is the best time to recite, when other preoccupations decrease and it is easier to concentrate, as in Soorah al-Muzzammil [73:6].
Further, Faatimah (r.a.a.), may Allaah be pleased with her, narrated from her father the Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, who told her: Jibreel would rehearse the Quran with him (in Ramadhaan) once every year, and he did so twice in the year of his death. [Al-Bukhaari]
Another great time to read the Quran during the month of ramadhan is right after fajir prayer.
'Aishah (r.a.a.), may Allah be pleased with her would recite from the pages of the Quran at the beginning of the day in Ramadhaan (i.e. after Dawn), until when the sun had risen, then she would sleep.
So let us turn to the Quran this Ramadhan and build a foundation for the rest of the coming year. Ameen..............O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quraan, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that which is in your hearts [Yoonus 10:57]
"Allah is the one that guides a soul, and a guided soul is like a walking pillar that shines out rays of light".
May Allah make our Eman shine out rays of light.
My intention on here is to Provide islamic awareness in a manner befitting a muslim insha Allah.
Like every one, i'm an individual that will eventually die.
Death is never far for the one that believes in it. And if we believe in this, then the only knowledge worthy of gaining is Islamic Knowledge. With that being said, I leave you with the fallowing...
Indeed calling to Allaah was the mission of all the Messengers and their followers, in
order to bring the people out from darkness and into the light, from unbelief (kufr) to true
Faith (Eemaan), from shirk to Tawheed, and from the Fire to Paradise.
Allaah says in the Qur'aan:
{ وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِي آُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَسُولًا أَنِ اُعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا
الطَّاغُوتَ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الضَّلَالَ ة
{
Meaning: And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a
Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allaah (Alone), and avoid Tâghût (all false deities,
etc. i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allaah).
Then of them were some whom Allaah guided and of them were some upon whom the
straying was justified. Soorah an-Nahl (16): Aayah 36
Shaikh 'Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Naasir as-Sa'dee (rahimahullaah) said that:
''He- the Most High- informs that His proof has been established upon all of the nations;
and that there was no earlier or later nation except that Allaah raised a Messenger
amongst them, and that all of them were agreed upon a single call and a single Religion;
and it is the worship of Allaah alone, with no partners being ascribed to Him.
{ أَنِ اُعْبُدُوا اللَّهَ وَاجْتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوتَ }
"meaning: (commanding them ): worship Allaah Alone and avoid the false objects of
worship":
So the nations divided, in accordance to whether they responded to the call of the
Messengers or not, into two categories:
{ فَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ هَدَى اللَّهُ }
"meaning: so from them were those whom Allaah guided" :
So they followed the Messengers, in knowledge and action.
{ وَمِنْهُمْ مَنْ حَقَّتْ عَليْهِ الضَّلَالَةُ }
"meaning: and from them were those for whom misguidance was made binding":
So they followed the path of misguidance. ''
