The 1973 line-up are always Journey no amount of money and success could change that. they were not popular in the pop culture but they were the original.
Journey perry brought a commercial success in the 80s in the States (kudos to Jon Cain, incredible song writer and musician and Steve Perry's pop voice). Musically, the original era (Greg Rolie) of Journey remains the epic and soul sound of Journey. Steve Augeri was great without him No new Journey. Arnel Pineda is the real deal ( a screamer and a solid ballader). Journey is international now.
