I'm an average guy with a great love for God
( The God of Creation)
My hero,and mentor of Deism ( God )
is Thomas Paine.

Deism
1.There is a Creator of all.
2.The Creation is the only way of understanding the Creator in this physical world.

Since we as Human Beings are apart of the creation then we can learn from each other about some truth that pertain to the Creator of all.

Thomas Paine just gives us a great starting point for understanding the Creator of all.
He was just a man with a great love for God.
He makes no claim who God is,or what God is only that s/he/? is.

If we listened to Thomas Paine,and his message about God we would not need to be talking about it today.
It would just be something that is
1. A theory for some,
2. a philosophy for others,
3. the number one religion in the world.

I become a Deist in Aug, 2006.
After reading the Age of Reason I realized that I was always a Deist.
This happens too alot of Deist's,and so it happened to me.
Its something that I prayed for,and now I'm obligated to the Creator of all to fulfill my end of a prayer answered.

I'm a married at home Dad with two small children who are being raised as Deist's.
I tell my kids that there is only one commandment ( creed ) that we need to live by,and that is to
" Love the Creator,and all that the Creator has created"
Know that this creed is not meant to be imposed on others.
Its a creed that I followed even before becoming a true Deist.

Thomas Paine said
"If theology is the study of God then Deism is the only true theology". Deism is the only true path of understanding our Maker.
There can only be one true path, (religion) that path is Deism.

Except for the true Deist it's the Atheist,and Agnostic that keeps Mr.Paines memory alive in hopes that one day this great mans whole message will be embraced by the world once more. We all know that he was one of the greatest humanitarians that ever walked this planet. Each claims him for their own,but its the Deist who's blessed to know that he too was a believer in the Creator of all.

My favorite words from the great Thomas Paine are

"Were a man impressed as fully and strongly as he ought to be with the belief of a God, his moral life would be regulated by the force of belief; he would stand in awe of God, and of himself, and would not do the thing that could not be concealed from either. To give this belief the full opportunity of force, it is necessary that it acts alone. This is deism."
"When we examine an extraordinary piece of machinery, an astonishing pile of architecture, a well executed statue, or an highly finished painting, where life and action are imitated, and habit only prevents our mistaking a surface of light and shade for cubical solidity, our ideas are naturally led to think of the extensive genius and talents of the artist. When we study the elements of geometry, we think of Euclid. When we speak of gravitation, we think of Newton. How then is it, that when we study the works of God in the creation, we stop short, and do not think of GOD? It is from the error of the schools in having taught those subjects as accomplishments only, and thereby separated the study of them from the 'Being' who is the author of them."


This channel is about my understanding of Deism.

I'm grateful for my Catholic upbringing as I believe that God is something that needs to be thought.
However I'm not a Christian Deist.

My two favorite memories of the Catholic faith is when the priest says at the end of mass " lets offer a sign of peace",
This would be the moment when my father would not only shake the hands of people next to him,but would try and make contact with as many as possible every Sunday. and
" the mass has ended now go in peace,too love and serve the lord"
I credit my dad for instilling in me my love for God, "the Creator of all".

If we treat this word of God ( the Creation ) as a holy text ( if you will ) all of our problems on religion,and the world can be solved. God is the answer,and Deism is the right path.

This is Deism where the word of God is the Creation that we behold. Its not a faith its a reality! You can't call it a faith. This word of God has endless possibilities. Where science is the best way of ascertaining what is true because the principles in science are of divine origin.

The main problem I think with religion is that the human race missed the message that Thomas Paine gave in 1794 with his work the Age of Reason. We have been putting our faith before truth when understanding the Creator of all.

Through Deism
word peace is not only possible!
Its inevitable!
