About Me:
(Pulmonary Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis).
The lung disease was caused by contractor negligence, the local contractor made multiple mistakes while constructing a large addition onto our home in 1992/1993. By 2004 I required help with the smallest tasks, by early 2005 I was in a wheel chair with oxygen around the clock.
Even the simple task of eating was too difficult to do, I was literally counting the days left before the end. On May 31, 2005 I received a Miracle, a Single Lung Transplant. Due to the lack of lung donors and in an effort to save more lives, guidelines allow for only one lung for my specific disease. I will remain disabled the remainder of my life due to one man's negligence. My sole reason for this video is to open eyes in this State to the seriousness of contractor faulty workmanship. The criminals have loop holes to protect them while the injured parties have to fend for their own. Let's change laws and force Ins. Companies to toe the line. If contractors refuse to follow guidelines, let's put them out of business. If a contractor is responsible for property damages and or bodily injury, let's financially hold them responsible and put them behind bars for their crimes!!

I was very active prior to the lung disease, I ran my own business, and I was a martial arts instructor, played with my 21 year old son on a men's basketball team, played racquetball regularly, and rode long distance bike.
At 45 I thought I was indestructible, boy was I wrong. Things can change so fast when it comes to health. Now after the lung transplant I do some minor gardening.
