Thanks for using our song at 2hours 19minutes! - We Are The Party!
Yes, it is not good for any red on any channel. A good thing to focus on to help you get better level on instrument channels is in gain staging, before the plug ins.. if recorded instruments. Red = Clip.. it means that you are going to clip off the top of your wave forms from too hot on a gain/level. If your instrument was recorded too hot, or is too hot when producing with Virtual, then bring it down so you have some nice headroom on that specific channel. Hope this helps!
Revolvr, Defunct! & Lea Luna - Dirty Secret (Original Mix) [Featured on Machine EP] - Dim Mak Records - OUT NOW!
We started in the Fidget era, but have since charted with Dubstep, Breaks, House, Techno, and so forth.. so we dont really like to put a direct term to the style as much as take different elements that we enjoy about a genre's energy/power, etc. Check out our latest tune "Open Skies" (free download) as it hits Complextro heavier and progressive amongst others! - we just posted on our channel.
So, we did a song called "F*CK THAT EMO SH*T!" a while back for our fans... just did a new original for free download and decided since the breakdowns were a bit..... "emo" again.... we added a little emo bash and used you as sample ;) hahah - comes in at 5m45s hah, worked perfectly ;) - soundcloud(dot)com(slash)defunct(slash)defunct-open-skies-or
We defo write AND produce every tune, as do most EDM artists. With EDM we just typically are DIY on all areas of a song creation process. (mix/master/writing etc) .. when writing, you are creating the notes, melody, and is the initial creation process to give birth to the song. bring it to life... and producing? You organize, shape etc to get the song to its very best potential. Writing is having that good idea for a tune, but treat it with great producing skills, you can take it platinum. :)
Let me get this right...kids are bitching on here, only because they were looking for this band called "Transit"... literally taking time out of their day to insult the Hip Hop Transit (yes, thats right, for the ignorant people calling this RAP) only because they landed on the wrong one? That poor band... all of their fans are making them look bad...as if the 'stuck-in-1997' sound I just heard wasn't bad enough. This accidental 'landing' should be the least of your worries.
