@MarioBro15 That's not quite true, it's more like the number of stars in the whole universe, not just our galaxy. But still, there are more stars in our galaxy than people on Earth.

I wonder what life would be like if humans evolved when the continents were different. The patterns of migration would be different so the races would not be the same as they are today.

@mistastretch There is a small mistake in the vid... It shows the solar system diameter (?) as 4.5 billion km. The distance of Neptune from the Sun is about 4.5 billion km. This is actually just the radius, not diameter.

I don't understand the part where he works out how long it will take to get 3 wins in a row.

Uranus and Neptune are a bit too big relative to the Earth. And someone already mentioned VY Canis Majoris.

Just a minor thing: Io is not actually the moon that orbits closest to Jupiter... there are others but they are much smaller. Io is the closest large moon.

@cooldaddyjames2814 It's probably a prop. A real roll of duct tape would be pretty heavy and it would be awkward when they pick it up.

This doesn't actually look like a 3D image... It looks like a 2D image placed on a 3D surface. In this picture the galaxy looks like a hill on the ground, lol.

@Dryicefox That phrase is used often to talk about star matter... like "we are made of star stuff"... but I don't know if Sagan was the first one to use that term or someone else.

@keronplug14 Why do you say that? The size looks pretty accurate to me, when you compare it to the planets' orbits. Of course, the image may not look like the real star but the size looks about right.

Forgive me for interjecting - but I think it's better to say that evolution is supported by MOST scientists. And almost all scientists in the biological sciences. It's pretty much known as a fact, but there are a few odd scientists who do not agree with it.

Yeah, they are time periods, but rocks can be referred to as "Cretaceous rock" or whatever period it is from. But he gets a lot of things wrong in this video.

My chemistry instructor in college said the same thing about the idea that "chemicals" are bad. Some people forget that water is a chemical too!
