In 2008 Declan Quinn and Cormac Breslin from the chart-topping band Republic of Loose set up Decor Music to write and produce music for Film, Television and Advertising.

As writers and producers in Republic of Loose, Quinn and Breslin achieved platinum record sales and four top twenty hit singles. The band received a Choice Music Award nomination, four Meteor nominations and one Meteor Award. They also licensed songs to US TV shows One Ocean Blvd. and Superstars Of Dance, hosted by Michael Flatley.

They toured Europe and the USA and collaborated with Snow Patrol, Sinead O'Connor, Shane McGowan, Damien Dempsey and New York rapper Styles P and supported such acts as the Scissor Sisters, The Neville Brothers, The Fun Lovin Criminals, Alabama 3, Ian Brown, Snow Patrol and U2.

Since 2008 Decor has composed and produced music for the following projects:

May 2009: Moore Street Masala an Irish Bollywood musical directed by David OSullivan. The film won the Audience Award for Best International Short Film at the Cork Film Festival 2009. (Fish Films)
