7 year Breast Cancer Survivor - Married to Tim, Mother of 3 fantastic daughters! Love music, enjoy song writing. Wrote a number of songs during my Breast Cancer experience and enjoy continuing to write songs for my 3 daughters who sing as "The Short Sistars".
In 2002, we as a family, started a petition to expand the age of breast screening in New Zealand to 40 - 70yrs and as a result of our campaign and petition of 125,000 signatures, the New Zealand Government in 2004 expanded the Breast Screening age to 45 - 69 years (was 50 - 64yrs).
