It's "liberal icons" like Micheal Moore who fail to see the real reason as why people are poor in this country...that is to say ­well beyond any deregulati­on issue in the financial industry. It is simply a political policy over low wages. I confronted Micheal Moore in one of the OWS protests on Oct 6 and mentioned my situation briefly (basically I asked MM to mention the issue with wages to the media more often, and that I was a house keeper with a masters...­). I video taped it, and it's on this channel. In the second vid, Micheal Moore says to me "Yes, I know, the lady with the Masters". I guess he thought I was just vying for "attention­"...or perhaps bragging about having a MA among so many others who have the same.
My point is, people...A­ND OWS HIPSTERS, who may not know what it's really like to graduate with a MA and work almost 20 years for low wages, is YOUR BOY MIKE seems pretty clueless about any real resolution to this entire Occupy movement. I get that OWS doesn't want to follow the same political process while many of us can appreciate that, yes bravo...we get it. HOWever, WE NEED TO BE SPECIFIC ABOUT REAL ISSUES THAT MATTER. As Robert Reich has said (only in recent years might I add...Jesu­s) it's the WAGES, STUPID (i.e. MICHEAL MOORE..and OWS). Unfortunately, Micheal Moore forgets that one SMART way to keep banks and corporate control out of government is to enforce them TO PAY employees a more liveable and substantial hourly wage. Basically what I am saying about Micheal Moore and his ilk of other so called liberal icons is that he's a pretty much another dumb and shallow man posing as a liberal...while having been rich and "stable" for too long to really see the truth admist the trees...or forest or whatever the hell I'm getting at. My goodness.
