Precious Lord, take my hand Lead me on, let me stand I'm tired, I'm weak, I'm lone Through the storm, through the night Lead me on to the light Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near When my life is almost gone Hear my cry, hear my call Hold my hand lest I fall Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home When the darkness appears and the night draws near And the day is past and gone At the river I stand Guide my feet, hold my hand Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home Precious Lord, take my hand Lead me on, let me stand I'm tired, I'm weak, Lord I'm worn Through the storm, through the night Lead me on to the light Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home
When you walk through a storm hold your head up high And don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, Walk on through the rain, Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone. Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone, You'll never, ever walk alone.

"Take My Hand, Precious Lord" is a gospel song written by Thomas A. Dorsey in 1932. The melody, although credited to Dorsey, was taken from a 1844 hymn entitled, "Maitland," by American composer, George N. Allen (1812-1877).
The song has been recorded by many artists including Mahalia Jackson (for whom the song was written in mind), Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone and Elvis Presley and is included in many Catholic and protestant hymnals and songbooks, often known, simply as "Precious Lord". The most haunting recording is by Lonnie Donegan with the Chris Barber Jazz Band on Tempo label.

"You'll Never Walk Alone" is a song written by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II for their 1945 musical, Carousel. It was sung in the original show by Christine Johnson and later Jan Clayton with chorus. It is sung in the movie by Claramae Turner (although the weeping Shirley Jones first tries to sing it, but cannot), and later reprised by Ms. Jones and a chorus.
In the musical, the song is sung after the death of the lead, Billy Bigelow, to give courage to Julie Jordan, pregnant at the time, and is reprised in the final scene to encourage a graduation class of which Louise (their daughter) is a member. As a result, it has become a standard, sung by graduation classes in the United States.
The song is also sung at football clubs around the world, where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters on matchday; this tradition began at Liverpool F.C. in the early sixties and later spread to several other clubs.
The song was recorded by many artists, first charting in 1945 in a version by Frank Sinatra (#9 on the Billboard charts). The great tenor Mario Lanza conducted by Constantine Callinicos sang it in 1950. It was a #1 R&B hit for Roy Hamilton in 1954. Gerry & The Pacemakers sent it to #1 in the UK Singles Chart in 1963. Patti LaBelle and the BlueBelles had a #34 charting version in 1964. Elvis Presley's version got to #90 in 1968.

Lyrics:
I know you wanna leave me, But I refuse to let you go If I have to beg and plead for your sympathy, I don't mind coz' you mean that much to me
Ain't too proud to beg, sweet darlin Please don't leave me girl, don't you go Ain't to proud to plead, baby, baby Please don't leave me, girl, don't you go
Now I heard a cryin' man, Is half a man with no sense of pride But if I have to cry to keep you, I don't mind weepin' if it'll keep you by my side
Ain't to proud to beg, sweet darlin Please don't leave me girl, don't you go Ain't to proud to plead, baby, baby Please don't leave me girl, don't you go
If I have to sleep on your doorstep All night and day just to keep you from walkin' away Let your friends laugh, even this I can stand Because I want to keep you any way I can
Ain't too proud to beg, sweet darlin' Please don't leave me girl, don't you go Ain't to proud to plead, baby, baby Please don't leave me girl, don't you go
Now I've gotta love so deep in the pit of my heart And each day it grows more and more I'm not ashamed to come and plead to you baby If pleadin' keeps you from walkin' out that door
Ain't too proud to beg, you know it sweet darlin' Please don't leave me girl, don't you go Ain't to proud to plead, baby, baby Please don't leave me girl, don't you go Baby, baby, baby, baby (sweet darling)

Someone told me It's all happening at the zoo. I do believe it, I do believe it's true.
Someone told me It's all happening at the zoo. I do believe it, I do believe it's true.
Mmmmm...mmmmm... Whoa-OH-oh! Mmmmm...
It's a light and tumble journey From the East Side to the park, Just a fine and fancy ramble to the zoo.
But you can take a cross-town bus If it's raining or it's cold, And the animals will love it If you do. If you do, now.
Something tells me It's all happening at the zoo. I do believe it, I do believe it's true.
Mmmm...mmmmm... Whoa-OH-oh! Mmmmmmm...
The monkeys stand for honesty, Giraffes are insincere, And the elephants are kindly but They're dumb. Orangutans are skeptical Of changes in their cages, And the zookeeper is very fond of rum.
Zebras are reactionaries, Antelopes are missionaries, Pigeons plot in secrecy, And hamsters turn on frequently. What a gas! You gotta come and see At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo. At the zoo.
