During an 18 week Level II Ultrasound, it was determined that the baby I was carrying had multiple life-threatening defects. Down syndrome and an unbalanced av canal defect is a rare and serious combination. Abortion was not an option for us, though we were given many reasons for terminating the pregnancy. We believed if we did things God's way, we would have no regrets.
