However you choose to state it, taxes paid are taxes paid. There is no disparaging "new" taxpayers for the only reason that they are young and haven't yet amassed a tax paying history. Its all the same when the money is spent. What your father chose to do with your money is unfortunate, but kind of irrelevant (not trying to be rude there). I certainly cared as a high schooler when SS taxes were taken out of my check, considering the questionable payout in the future, when it was money I could have used otherwise to stay out of debt, a difficult task for most young people today.

Taxes paid in high school are minimal and most teenagers don't usually care about taxes in the first place. I'm glad to see you're the exception. Too much of our tax dollars are misspent to line the pockets of greedy politicians. I not only had a job in high school, I had to have one and my father took most of what I earned to teach me responsibility(NOT). He spent it on booze.

"In the end" of WHAT, exactly? If you're going to make a zealotous comment, you might want to make sure to be specific enough so people know what you're talking about. But then, most of your comments were emtpy religious diatribe anyway, so what did I expect?  Silly me, nvm. ~DC
