It's very significant that the Islamic world invented neither.
While muslim kids and students still learn things like Koran and Sharia by heart, they only end up with a well trained memory, and lose the meaning of the phrases they are proclaiming.
They should discuss it, comparing it with other studies, while they always can gather the exact data anytime anywhere.
But Islam has a protective attitude that bans any intelligent research into the value of its teachings. Any system that does that, triggers suspicion, by showing its fear that intelligent research will uncover its fairy tale- fundaments.

So not only is the muslim world not yet on the actual level of modern man . ... the question is: ...Do muslims ever want to leave their cozy retarded fairy tales that suit them so well, and step into reality to reach this level?
Millions of muslim reactions show they don't.
That's why Islam is the past of mankind.

At 17, so prior to my scientific studies, I had many discussions with my friends about how
- time and space are a mere concept of our brain, which explains their flexibility
- science translated this into the time/space continuum, a 4th dimension in which our universe is floating, deformed into gravity by any object,
- Einstein et al. showed that mathematical formula, if deducted correctly, could predict things that we only could observe in the future with better tools. And we did.
- the Big Bang is not just a blast, as our universe floats in the time/space continuum
- Expansion of the universe is thus not to be seen in our limited perception: Unlike any blast we know , universal expansion is seen as the same in any corner of universe: While expanding, the 4th dimension is folding universe back into itself. Meaning: if we'd launch anything from earth in a straight line, providing its doesn't collapse, it will eventually come back without ever making a turn!
- Bose et al. showed that the smallest brickstone of what we call mass, is itself made of energyblocks. Meaning mass is also just a concept, and any object is a stack of energy in a certain shape.
- Bohr et al. showed how we could NOT predict the location of any particle, but we could only know its location when we tried to observe it.
- Looking for the answer, Bohr's formula predicted that particles can be at different places at the same time (only shown recently in an accelerator),
- Bohrs quantum was extended: Any object is a stack of shaped energy, floating in 11 dimensions we know so far, ( and of which SPACE doesnt exist!), consisting of particles that seem to be at different places at the same time. Our limited mind can only put an object in 1 location. Meaning: I tap on my PC 'cause I locate it in front of me. Leaving the room, I must consider it's actually not there anymore. If anyone else enters the room and say it still is, then the first question I have to ask myself, is: Where do I LOCATE that person, how is HIS awareness of the room, where does HE locate it, and the objects in it. Because, while I hear him describing the room and its continence, I automatically translate his message to my own concept and perception of it. Indeed, space is a proven flexible concept of our mind, thus so is location.

At 12, my teacher suggested that we may all call a light frequency the same color, but our brains might not picture the same. So at 17,this perception was already "old news".
Scientists are now at the highest level modern man can reach so far in perception and Quantum.

Meanwhile we're invaded by Muslims who think that a god molded man out of clay, like they used to mold their pottery.

The next generations learned a few things, but their total lack of any background pulled our educational level to ground zero. While Islam left muslims with no development , they still claim its them that know the truth. So muslims pull Western science to their primitive intelligence level, and suddenly read their simplistic view on it in the Koran, changing their Koran to the most hilarious book ever. They are like a primitive tribe, who claim their holy book predicted telephones. But assuming in a primitive way that the voices go through the wires as they would through a hollow tube, they proudly "show" that their holy book litterally says that ...
While science discovered the boundaries of the human brain, and thus has an idea what is beyond it, muslims can't even see the limits Islam is putting IN their brain.
Lacking any perception, they fool themselves enormously. Suddenly they read in koran that earth is a globe, and universe is there, while for 1400 years their (grand)parents still read that the earth is flat and allah looks down at them from heaven above..Koran litt. describes angels with wings to be able to fly to earth. Meaning: allah was only as wise as a 7th century person, not knowing the wings wouldn't work, and IF they did, they would be useless in thin atmosphere. Since Western development learned muslims that allah/heaven is not above, they claim allah is everywhere. Which makes the poor angels even more stuck with totally useless wings on their back!
These are just some of the billion examples of this great dilusion, still on the muslims own 7th century level.

Deformation of time/space makes the apple move towards earth, but muslims will be forever stuck in the old perception-lacking Newton idea, that earth attracts the apple: Something one would tell 12 y old kids.
Indeed, before you can grab scientific perception, you must understand it in a philosophical way. Any muslim that succeeds in doing the latter, will know that his religion is nothing more than an old product of the limited human brain. Like there still are some living traces of our physical evolution, he'll start to realize that Islam is a living fossil of the intellectual evolution of mankind.
Which will finally welcome him to the modern world.
