Hi everyone,

I'm currently living near Toronto, Ontario. I recently moved here from Alberta (Calgary) and I'm loving it way more out here. The metal concerts are infinite, and that's basically what keeps me happy :) Recent shows I've been to out here: Kalmah, Sonata Arctica, Nightwish, Opeth, Ensiferum, Amon Amarth, Tarja Turunen, August Burns Red, Dethklok, and Stratovarius! \m/

I started playing drums back in Junior High. I was basically obsessed. My buddy Joe and I used to stay after school and sneak into the band room after most people had left and jammed as long as we could until a teacher heard us and kicked us out :D All through high school and a year after I never stopped thinking about drumming. I tapped along to every song I heard, thought about drum beats even when I wasn't listening to music, and dreamt about touring with a band. My parents could not afford a drum set for me, and did not want one in the house anyway. So I moved out and saved up enough money to buy myself a kit for about $1000 dollars for Christmas in 2005. I've been drumming ever since and my dream would be to join a Symphonic Metal band \m/

I would say I'm a fairly dedicated person, at the same time I'm quite lazy, sometimes the two don't mix very well. My mind tells me to do something but my lazy side tells me to relax, but when I desire something, I do whatever I can to obtain it. I'm quiet most of the time. The times I am not quiet is when someone is having an argument, I love to give my opinion, not that it's a good thing :( The best times of my life have been outdoors. I love swimming, running, climbing trees, boating, biking, and being out in the sun. I hate TV, all it does is turn your brain to mush, there is not one single good thing about TV. The things that fascinate me the most are in nature, not on a television set. I'm intrigued most by things like volcanoes, lightning, the ocean, tornados, wild animals, stars, the summer night sky, but most of all, I adore the sound of rain and thunder :D The greatest things in life are free. I don't like negative people, people who get angry over small things, people who yell and curse and argue about everything, which just so happens to be most people in my life. I hate prejudice, racism, sterotypes, and anyone who doesn't accept someone for who they are. I wish everyone would keep negative comments to themselves. I am very hand-eye coordinated, adept at drumming, juggling, and playing piano. Another of my greatest appreciations in life lies in music. In my opinion, creating your own music (no matter what the instrument) is the best way to express yourself :)
