Dawson Reigns is the latest product of a creative fusion between rock influences and new country! Reigns influences include Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, Montgomery Gentry, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi. Dawson's energy fueled live shows have fans moving from start to finish! Dawson has been singing and performing most of his life, he began his professional music career six years ago working the indie circuit in local bars and festivals taking advantage of every possible opportunity to perform, honing his skills as a vocalist, entertainer and songwriter. His hard work and dedication have begun to pay off on both sides of the border and around the world. In January 2010, Dawson's debut single "If Crazy Wasn't So Beautiful" was released to radio and went Top 20 on the Canadian, UK and Japan Country Music Charts. After being released to radio in Australia in the summer 2010. Thanks to fans and radio support in Australia, Dawson received his first #1 hit for "If Crazy Wasn't So Beautiful" on the Australian Hot Country Top 50 Charts in October 2010. Since releasing his debut single, Dawson has followed up with three more chart hitting singles -- Empty Handed, Girl Next Door and Someone Watching Over Me which went Top 10 on the Hot Country Charts in Australia this year. With CD and his radio singles success, Dawson was selected to perform at the 2010 Canadian Country Music Award's New Artist Showcase in Canada and then jetted off to the UK to perform at the British Country Music Awards and radio tour throughout the UK to support his debut CD.
2010 has proven to be an amazing debut year for Dawson and 2011 has continued to be just as good. Recently Dawson signed an endorsement deal with Gibson Guitars to promote their exciting new "Epiphone Masterbilt Series" line of guitars. As well, Forty Creek Whisky has come on board as Dawson's whisky sponsor for all of North America. This is a great opportunity and both will be great partners of Dawson's career for many years to come. In Nashville, the industry is starting to take notice of this talented country music artist as well. Recently Dawson signed on with Raycon Entertainment based out of Nashville and will be promoted by Danny Ray. Danny has worked with and represented "National Acts" such as Daryl Worley, Lee Brice, Steve Holy, Rhett Akins, The JaneDear Girls and many more. "Dawson has established himself already as a rising star in country music around the world. Dawson will no doubt have a great opportunity to be one of the next big acts in the country music industry in Nashville and the United States".
Dawson has been hard at work in Nashville writing with some of the industries top hit song writers on his follow up CD that will no doubt be another great CD from Dawson Reigns. Dawson has decided to work with up and coming Nashville producer, Steffon Hamulak, out of "Sea The Desert" music studio.
The excitement is growing for the first single, video and CD to be released early in 2012.
