بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم wa-s-salaatu wa-s-salaamu 'alaa Rasulillaah sallAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. In the name of Allaah, may Allaah send His peace and blessings upon Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and all those who follow them with righteousness until the last day
video uploaded from: http://www.youtub... may Allaah reward them. Note: I don't know if they still offer the courses.
The Qur'aan was revealed to prophet Muhammad (Sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) in the language of the arabs, in it's purest, unadulterated form, and later, when new nations were entering islaam (with the conquests of the muslims) the new people (non-arabs) altered the pure arabic language with foreign impurities (la7n). This is why the scholars of arabic came and did the science of Na7w (grammar) (one of the 12 different sciences of the arabic language) to explain the true arabic language.
Ibn al-Jawzi (rahimahullaah) writes, while complaining about certain Ash'arites indoctrinating the masses with the Ash'arite dogma: "A group of Persian (non arabs - a'ajim) heretics arrived in Baghdad and mounted the pulpits to sermon the masses. They would claim, in most of their gatherings: There is no 'Speech of Allaah' on this earth, and is the mushaf anything but paper, galls and vitriol? Allaah is not in the Heavens, and the slave-girl to whom the Prophet said: 'Where is Allaah?' was dumb and therefore pointed towards the sky, meaning: He is not from the idols worshipped on this earth. They then said: 'Where are the 'letterists', who claim that the Qur'aan is composed of letters and sound? Rather, the Qur'aan is only an expression of Jibril!' They continued in this vein, until the sacredness of the Qur'aan diminished from the hearts of many." [Sayd al-Khatir p. 131]
Imaam Ash-Shaafi'ee (Rahimahullaah) also said innovations start when people stop using the arabic language.
Abu Abdillahi Muhammad bin Muhammad bin Da'ud As-Sinhaji, known as Ibn Ajrum (Rahimahullaah) was born in 672 Hijra, in Fes, Morocco Explanation in english of Al Ajrumiyyah, the explanation called "At Tuhfatu As Saniyyah" by the late scholar Muhammad Muhy-ud-deen 'Abdul-Hameed : http://www.baytul... He is considered like a "Shaykh-ul-islaam" in the arabic language. This explanation is one of the best, and very simple, also using the simplest madhhab in the arabic language (because arabic lugha has different madhhabs like fiqh: the madhhab of Al Kuufi and the one of Al Basraa) which is the madhhab of Al Kuufi (was also the madhhab of Shaykh Muhammad Salih Ibn Al 'Uthaymeen (Rahimahullaah) who, when asked which madhhab to follow in lugha, said the one of Al Kuufi cause it's the simplest, and in arabic we are not as strict as in the islamic shari'aa sciences so we can make things as easy as possible.) I learned this from my teacher of Ajrumiyyah (hafizahullaah), who has Tazkiyya from Shaykh Zayd Al Madkhali (Hafizahullaah) and other shuyuukh.

Abdur Raheem Green was born in Dar-es-salaam in Tanzania. His father was a colonial administrator in the then extant British Empire. By the time he was walking the old colonies were getting their independence, and his family moved back to the UK. He was sent to a Roman Catholic Monastic boarding school, Gilling Castle and then onto Ampleforth College. It was there that he really started to question what life was all about and how much sense the traditions he was being brought up with really made.
It was while he was working in the City (London) that his delving into every aspect of spirituality, philosophy and psychology came to a head. It was then when he picked up a copy of the Quran and upon reading it he was convinced that it was revelation from God, and thus started his journey into Islam. This was in 1987. Since that time he has been involved in letting others know about Islam.
He is well known for his efforts at the renowned "Speaker's Corner" in London's Hyde Park. Currently, he is engaged in different activities including media work (Peace TV and Islam Channel)
