Grew up on a little island in the south-west of Scotland, surrounded by palm trees and semi-tropical plants.........yes, that's right "palm trees" in Scotland! This backdrop probably created my interest in plants!

Moved to London in the mid 80's and began my career in the Design business. Got a thorough grounding in Architecture in a small architectural practice, adding Interior Design to my skills as my knowledge increased.

With a few years of Architecture and Interior Design as my base, I felt it was time to combine these traits with my love of plants. In 1993, I enrolled at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, London to study Garden Design under the auspices of John Brookes. On completion, I went solo and began to create Garden and Landscape Designs with a very strong architectural style.

In 2005, I was invited by the Royal Horticultural Society to design and build a chic garden at the famous RHS Chelsea Flower Show, London and received a Silver-Gilt medal amid much media acclaim.

In 2006, high on the heels of success from the previous year and backing from the British Council, I was invited to represent the United Kingdom at the inaugural International Flora in Montreal, Canada.

Based in UK but travel frequently on International projects, currently throughout Europe and North America.
