For the last ten years I have been director of Big Island School- an organization of classrooms without walls, off-the-grid facilities and opportunity for people to really experience the essence of Hawaii culture, land and people, nature, the wilderness and creating media to share the highligths.

Now the focus and emphasis is on the Kingdom of Hawaii and helping to re-establish formal self-governing among all the islands.

Big island School is making a difference in the way of higher education, deep ecology and economic prosperity for people of all ages and skill levels.

David Lakota has more than 20 years experience in guerrilla media- showing others how to use the latest technology (cameras, computers and the worldwide web to promote and support indigenous people and way of life. The objective is using cameras, computer and the world-wide web for one or more of the following purposes: Freedom - Education - Communication - Funding - and giving people a voice, a Vehicle of Expression. This is for both conflict resolution and for innovation, art, crafts, business and music. It also works for liberating and running a country.
