Professional Photographer, Videographer, and IT Certified Technician. How did I get started in photography? Long ago I had always enjoyed taking pictures even as a child with my little 35 mil camera but never really gave it much thought until the advent of the digital world. First I stopped taking pictures and started doing video production in the non-linear world of FInal Cut Pro and Adobe Production (storyboarding, set up, set design, taping, sound, lighting, directing, editing: tape to drive-drive to tape, credits, packaging). Great times!-- I still love it though :), when I have the time.
So then I went out and bought a pro Nikon just a year ago, read the manual, took some classes, and decided... yea... this is it! I found what I was looking for! Photography! (no need to sound to edit huh? ;)
Furthermore, and the most important is that it is just so exciting to meet so many more cool people on this journey!--including my contacts and friends from the youtube world. NO BOUNDARIES. NO WALLS.

As you can see, I still do Videography on a very limited basis: I shoot both studio (up to 4 camera) and field production (directing, cameras, sound). Feel free to check out more of my work for LadhaYaKenya by clicking on that link inside "Subscriptions" LadhaYaKenya was shot entirely on location in Kenya (Mombasa, Nairobi, Kiyoni, Thika) and most of the footage was edited on the fly in a small makeshift editing studio inside Thika, Kenya.
