He writes and sings both in English and Italian depending on moods and the forms of expression that he feels to use in certain periods of his life.
Influenced daily by artists such as Bjork, Madonna, Depeche Mode, and Black Eyed Peas, just to mention but a few. Genre is pop/electronic/dance (He'd also say experimental) because is the type of music that gives him shivers through his spine.He's aware of the fact that this kind of music is not that common but difficult to be appreciated. However, David is a gambler and with his sound and lyrics he always brings something brand new and never heard before in the music industry. In his music, he tells people about social or personal stories. He also knows that to be able to sing discreetly he should have a minimum of vocal training, but unfortunately he still misses that. F**k it, he writes songs because he wants people to identify themselves into his stories and face problems that sometimes are forgotten.
David Durante had a few professional experiences in London, but when he realized that they wanted his money more than his art, he just f**ked them off and started his own path. This way he's free to be himself.
Music is not about money, it's about art and being who you are.
