UPDATE: David Bray Amps has relocated to Southern California!
I am quite happy to announce that David Bray Amps has moved to Southern California, and is now located in Yucca Valley, 37 miles north of Palm Springs.
The new phone number is 760-418-5729.

Welcome to David Bray Amps! Sit back, relax....and I'll tell you a little about what I have to offer in the world of guitar amplification.
I am offering handwired, point-to-point "Plexi" style amps, using top shelf componants and transformers, custom-built by myself to the client's tonal desires and needs. These models are the "50", the "45", the "100", and the "45/50".
Or, you can send me your amp for a Mod/Rework. If you buy an amp elsewhere, such as eBay, you can have it shipped directly here, email me for the shipping address.
The main theme I go for when building or reworking an amplifier is increased musicality. What this means is the amp is much more enjoyable to play through. Almost all of us have had those special experiences where you are playing through a certain rig, and it draws you in to the point where you literally cannot stop playing your guitar. Soon, it's 4 am, and your significant other is wondering where you are.
On any amp that I build or perform a Mod/Rework on, I record a soundclip of your amp and send it to you to hear, prior to shipping, to make sure it is exactly what you want.
For Mod/Reworks, the brands that people send me the most are Marshalls and Fenders, including clones. If you have something different, though, don't be afraid to ask. I also provide other amp work, as well as work on other amps. Feel free to email me...I am more than happy to answer your questions.
