I saw in the WCNews.com archive that Prophecy has new OpenGL enhancements. New graphics options are available, with two of them being for specific video cards.

I know I'll get some complaints about this, but I'll be flying as many Tie Fighter Historic missions as possible without worrying about getting all of the bonus objectives. Some missions have bonus objectives that are quite difficult to obtain.

Those last few missions on X-Wing are proving quite hard to successfully complete. I did try out some Tie Fighter Historic Missions and I should have some additional missions uploaded hopefully soon.

I'm getting close to finishing the X-Wing historical missions. I'll then move on to Tie Fighter as well as continuing where I left off at on Savage Empire. I am aware that I have yet to begin my LP of Planescape: Torment, but I'm sure you'll understand that I want to handle games I set aside.

In regards to my X-Wing/Tie Fighter recordings, when I have new missions recorded I'll still use the DOS versions since the missions can be long and I'm not sure with over 100 gigabytes that the Windows recorder program would have enough space or run into a time limit and cut off the recording. I'll use my Windows version of X-Wing/Tie Fighter to practice a mission until I can complete it and then try it on the DOS version. I was able to complete the second bonus mission on Windows, so hopefully I can complete it soon on DOS.

I decided to buy the X-Wing Collector series to see the improvements. It seems that part of my problems with the older versions of both games may have been graphics and DOSBox running speed. I was intending to pick up where I left off eventually, but let me know if you would prefer me restarting with the newer version or continuing on the older version.

after having a bad case of missing-wingcommader3+4 i found your channel. thanks so much! watching your videos gives me the the chance to relive these memories of my childhood without having to care for all the dosbox crap. subbed as a thank you, keep it up :) there are so many classics out there
