i would have to agree with mindpow3r. all the facts that he stated are correct. Siddhartha was a hindu until he was shown the four signs of suffering (he was hindu a little after that, but thats when he began his acedic life which lead him to become the buddha)

BUDDHISM is 1000 years older then jesus christ..Buddhism branched off of HINDUISM which is over 100,000 years older then christianity...They have books way older then the bible...Everyone needs to do some studying before saying anything foolish about another religion...TRUTH
