Linda McCoy is the co-author of the inspirational novel, I heard a voice say, "Never throw in the Towel." The book is about a young man and his mother, refusing to give in to the pressures of the insurance companies. The book expresses Darien Smith's incredible desire to live, in spite of all the odds against him medically and financially. His mother fought for his life. Linda McCoy, a former cosmetologist gave up her life so that her son might have one. Together, with the help of God and the people he put in their lives, they were able to persevere and demand justice for Darien from the healthcare system.
Linda McCoy is also a motivational speaker who recently began a speaking tour for her signature speech, "Taking Down Your Giants."
