DESCENDANTS OF THE ILLYRIANS
G.W.Lejbnic (1646-1716) german philosopher, called the albanian language "the language of the ancient illyrians"
Hans Tunman (1746-1778) known historian, writes in 1774 "Untersuchungen über die Geschichte der östlichen europäischen Völker" concludes that the Albanians are the direct descendants of the Illyrians.
Johan G.Herder (1744-1803) german philosopher "Ideen zur Philosophie der Geschichte der Menschheit", 1784, afferms Albanians as descendants of the Illyrians
Conrad Malte-Brun (1755-1826) well-known historian writes in "Annales des Voyages de la geographie et de l'historie", Paris 1809, that the albanians are Illyrian descendants
H. Hecquard (1814-1866) diplomat and french studious, L'historie et Description de la Haute-Albanie ou Guegarie" says that the Illyrians were the ancestors of the today's albanians.
Ami Boue (1794-1881) french geolog connects the Illyrians through the today's albanians.
Eduard Schneider, a french scholar, writes about the albano-illyrian conection in his book"Une race oubliée- Les Pélasges et leurs descendantes", Paris 1894.
L.Lasmouche mentions in his book "La Peninsule Balkanique", that the albanians are the only who can represent a survived illyrian sign.
Jakob Philipp Fallmerayer (1790-1861) known german historian, in his book "Das Albanische Element in Griechenland" afferms the connection between Albanians and Illyrians.
Fallmerayer discredits also slavs and greeks accusing them to have an intentional try of distorsion of the albanian history and for the reason they intented to deny the autochthonous of the illyrian albanians, of the gegs and the tosks.
