Ever wanted to play a Nintendo 64 game in 1080p? It's actually been possible for quite some time, now.

Using emulators - Project 64, for instance - Nintendo 64 ROMs can be run in a wide aspect ratio, and at higher resolutions without any stretching at all. Some other neat settings include anti-aliasing (AA) up to 8x and anistropic filtering (AF) up to 16x. And because the games are run through an emulator directly on to a monitor or TV at the screen's full resolution, they look fantastic, with a crystal clear image.

While the crystal clear image really isn't after the compression applied to the video source, here you can still clearly see the wide, high resolution image and how it affects games.

One long weekend resulted in these two videos...

I made this, which isn't hard to believe, seeing as it isn't especially complex. I also made the scrolling feature for the game, which can be automatic or controlled by a person.

Perhaps I'll continue on with SMB 1-2... just as an expirement, nothing more.

This Almost but Not Quite is the entire, full-length match I played in "Massacre- Unreal Tournament 3". Because it's nearly 10 minutes long, it uses several songs instead of just the one. It was easy to tell that anyone watching this would be bored out of their mind if I didn't trim it down, so I did, and that was the final result. These are my favorite machine guns from some of my favorite games.

Once again, sorry about the bad FPS in Crysis. FRAPS has some issues with my new 8800GT. I get something like 5FPS recording Half-Life 1 on all max settings. Changing the resolution down increases the FPS, but lowering AA does wonders. So sadly, the Crysis portions are laggy and the graphics settings are low.

The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse is in fact an incredible game. While it starts off just like any other third-rate platformer, it gets very intense and the levels have superb designs. You also come across several different suits which give you different powers and attacks. This is one game I could spend the whole day beating. Ahhh, the memories.
