About me:
I matured to quickly as a child that I never felt I was young to start with. But there was always something that made me happy and made me feel young. It was the cartoons I used to watch, everytime time I watched one of my favourate cartoons it always made me happy. But then, I came across japanese anime. Which was an amazing experience for me, the first ever anime I watched was by Miyazaki (Laputa) which means Castle in the Sky. I was probably around 7 or maybe 8.
I then came across a manga which for the first time had swear words in it, I think I was 13 when I first saw it. It was called Guy, and there was nothing but swearing in it and sex. I couldn't believe it, the first ever cartoon I watched with such nudity and language. I guess that's were it all began, I just from there on in, starting buying loads of manga, anime, tokyopop, everthing. I just loved the action and the laughter they gave me, but in the end it's always been that way for me. From when I was a child to now, cartoons have always made me feel happy, like filling a gap inside me.
I might be old, but that will never changed the way I feel about Japanese Cartoons. I'm always in that world, even when I'm at work, home, anywhere really, because as most of you out there like me know. In the anime world there's nothing but friendship, happiness, there for one another. It's just the hall culture behind it all which is so nice and sweet and extremely CUTE!!!
But there's a lot of hidden messages in japanese cartoons which relate to reel life and reel people. That's why there are some really sad ones and some real happy ones, I like it because there not just cartoons. They 95% of the time resemble real life.
Besides japanese cartoons as long as I can remember I've always been into japanese and chinese culture, for there history and there way of life is amazing. Even up till now the best friends I've ever had have been korean, which I got to learn a lot about and found that Japanese, China, Korea. Have a lot in common, with history, clothes, foods etc,
I listen to korean and japanese music most of the time. There so sad and yet uplifting, especially korean music which is soothing and makes me think of wonderful beautiful scenary, love, gardens. But also puts a smile on my face (like this) --> (^-^)
