I was recently told I have DDD and a few bulging discs that I got while conducting training in the army. My MRI result also mentioned something about a bone island, but I'm not sure where it was found. Is it possible that it could be a calcium build up?

I think this song is a metaphor for the duality of man. I also see layers of meaning that I can only assume are meant to reflect the listener's soul back at him as he stares into the abysmal void of the human condition.
