I am known simply as Aimee, though perhaps not so simply. I am a gypsy from a long-line of gypsies and consider myself to be pure-blooded.
I was born in Paris, not far from Notre Dame, but lived my life elsewhere, only being able to return to the now-unfamiliar city recently and alone.
My father, Reginald, and my mother, Aduluminita, are both dead along with the caravan I used to travel with. They died so that I would have a chance to live, but the burden of their deaths rests on my shoulders.
Contrary to what the vast populace believes about gypsies I am neither thief nor uneducated. I am multi-lingual and I earn my money, thank you very much, by dancing and singing for the public.
