I am formerly of Northern NJ, now living near Tampa, FL, I grew up on local New York City TV from the late 70s throughout the 80s and 90s.
On my channel, which has recently attracted other New York TV fans such as myself, you will find the best of what YouTube has to offer, as I am subscribed to the great members that have preserved and shared such wonderful memories from the great TV stations that serve this great city. My thanks goes out to all those that post and re-post this wonderful, nostalgic, classic material that brings back memories of growing up in a FAR better, innocent era that was never as far as what we have held in our hearts.
Seeing how I was a huge fan of the New York TV station movie umbrellas (especially WNEW's "Drive-In Movie" and WABC's various movie presentations throughout the 70s/80s) I am ALWAYS looking for any local station promos, commercials, station sign-ons & sign-offs, and movie bumpers from ANY New York TV station during the 70s and 80s, especially anything from WABC!
