Things that I find entertaining and/or of interest ... .
About Me:
eclectically balanced, laughing polyglot;
a bit quixotic, yes, but certainly not mad,
who otherwise writes some & reads a lot.
Hometown:
Transatlantic
Occupation:
In Praise of Idleness: an epicurean stoic.(zpub dot com slash notes slash idle dot html)
Companies:
Preference is given to good company, i.e. FUN PEOPLE: balanced, in tune, at peace, whichever terms you chose, mindful, aware, conscious individuals; particularly creative individuals.
Interests:
The multiple manifestations of things Diophantine.
Music:
My musical preferences center on so-called classical music though I'll also occasionally listen to Jazz (e.g. Yusef Lateef, Jan Garbarek, and much more) and certain 60s & 70s "stuff".My interest in classical music is perhaps best summed up as follows: I hold J.S. Bach to have been the greatest geometer to date.
Books:
Authors, in alphabetic order, certain works of whom shaped the person that I am: Ernest Ansermet, Georg Cantor, Jean-François Champollion, Noam Chomsky, Albert Einstein, Robert Havemann, Johann Wolfgang Goethe, Johannes Kepler, Gottfried Leibniz, Πλάτων, Bertrand Russell, Heinrich Schenker, Anne Griswold Tyng, Ludwig Wittgenstein.
