I am only one. Of this I am acutely aware. I am also aware that if my fellow countrymen and humanity as a whole do not abandon the illusions of divisions we now cling to, we will continue down this path to inevitable chaos and destruction. If we do not begin to look out beyond ourselves and our immediate situations, we will be lost in the sea of tyranny and the pathos of power hording which threatens now to steal away our "inalienable rights". If we continue to lap up our luxuries and ignore our responsibilities to each other and the world as citizens, we will find that the freedoms we have so long cherished were stolen from under our pillows as we slept.
