Dajsia (born May 5, 1996) is an American R&B artist and songwriter. Currenlty in New Jersey, Dajsia has made herself a name as a songwriter, penning tracks for multiple aspiring artists around the country and is a part of the underground eight-person production/songwriting team known as Transpose. She is also affiliated with the rising SpokenFree Ent. and Unsigned.com. Planning to broaden her horizons, Dajsia also can be found on The Juice.com for upcoming talent.
Dajsia is currently working on numerous songs for the upcoming demo tape composition titled "Mirror Mirror On The Wall" featuring a few old buddies she has worked with creating musical magic. Owen is also a dedicated High School Student. At age 15, Dajsia is already a published poet in multiple compositions for the public, nominated to attend the National Young Leaders State Conference (NYLSC) in New Jersey on behalf of the U.S. Honorary Congressional Board of advisors of the Arts, and has been a selected candidate for Miss Teen New Jersey Pageant of 2011. Adding to the list of experiences, Dajsia also has won awards ranging from the Local Louis Ellvinger Award of Arts to the Vocal Recognition of the school choir Award. Owen is barely finished there, with the desire to learn and explore music in depth, she can also play clarinet as well in her words "the basic stuff" of piano. According to her, the title of any song she creates is her way of "saying nothing in the world is perfect and no person in it is, either. None of us are exempt from certain hardships and heartbreaks and it is really important for me to write songs that women can relate to from real situations; especially young girls who happen to live in those equally difficult hardships. Don't forget people, I am young myself! So it takes one to know what the other wants! (Laughs)"
