With less than 2 percent of the U.S. population involved in farming today, many people don't have the opportunity to visit a dairy farm. Add the fact that most people are three to four generations removed from the farm, and a pretty big information gap has evolved.
America's Dairy Farmers® welcome the opportunity to connect the general public with life on the farm. U.S. dairy farms -- 99 percent of them family owned and operated -- are as diverse as the landscape that serves as their backdrop, but all dairy farmers work hard every day to provide safe, wholesome and nutritious milk to the public.
