Hmm, strictly saying, for me atheism is something a little bit illogical. I myself attend religious services very rarely, don't consider myself a devout Catholic and I don't need or trust any Church too much... but I just believe that there is the One who created everything and it's besides my cognitive abilities that Everything could began from nothing, just by itself. And I hate atheism also because any discussions with atheists are almost impossible - in their opinion they're right, anyway :P No argument can convince them - and no argument can convince me. But maybe really - like the people say - you cannot discuss with faith... ;)
