Hey, I go under the alias Phenomenon. I am a young up & coming emcee. I don't consider myself a rapper... more like an artist, a lyricist, or a poet. My style is very different and often my metaphors & wordplay goes over peoples heads. My friends compare me to artist like Andre 3000, Mos Def, Canibus, etc. because of my creativity and refusal to compromise my art. I don't use profanity in my music; Although, on the Cypher 2008 instrumental I made reference to life as a B with editing of course.
I am a lyricist by it's true definition, as I express deep personal emotions and/or observations using rhyming words. The majority of my material has a profound meaning. I'm an excellent story teller & very real with every song I write.
I write songs about the observations I've made in my twenty years on this Earth.
I LOVE WOMEN WITH A PASSION (Not just in a sexual way). I mean I admire and respect strong women. My desire is to sign a female MC that will represent women positively; like Lauryn Hill or Queen Latifah did.
