Die Ewoks (Ewoks) ist eine kanadisch-US-amerikanische Zeichentrick-Serie, die im Star Wars Universum von George Lucas spielt. Sie wurde erstmals von 1985 bis 1987 im US-amerikanischen Sender ABC ausgestrahlt. Chronologisch ist diese Serie ein Jahr vor den Ereignissen von Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter angesiedelt und erzählt von diversen Geschehnissen zwischen Hexen, Zauberern, Kobolden und den Eingeborenen des Waldmondes, der um den Gasriesen Endor kreist, den Ewoks. Die Essenz der Serie ist der Zusammenhalt und die Freundschaft.
Die Serie besteht aus 26 einzelnen Episoden, wobei die Folgen aus der zweiten Staffel nur noch halb so lang sind wie zuvor. Star-Wars-Erfinder George Lucas hatte mit der Produktion der Serie nichts zu tun, stattdessen beauftragte seine Firma Lucasfilm, wie auch schon zuvor bei Droids, Nelvana Ltd. Nach zwei Staffeln und einem mäßigen Erfolg, wurde die Serie nicht weiter fortgesetzt.
In Deutschland erschien Die Ewoks zum ersten Mal ab April 1988 im ZDF. Im selben Jahr wurden noch VHS-Kassetten der Ewoks veröffentlicht, bisher jedoch nur als Leih-Video. Ende 2004 sind dann in den USA auch große Teile der Serie auf DVD erschienen.
Außerdem gab es die Fernsehfilme Ewoks -- Die Karawane der Tapferen (1984) und Ewoks -- Kampf um Endor (1985). Zudem traten die Ewoks auch in Die Rückkehr der Jedi-Ritter (1983) auf.
