AVGN is actually a bit older then that. The first two episodes were actually recorded in 2004, but weren't released to the public until 2006. After that, Rolfe started routinely making AVGN videos.

I think they met in college.

When I started listening...memories of me playing this in grade school came back...I felt an uncontrollable urge to buy this masterpiece on eBay!

Needless to say, I succumbed to that urge. Best $20 I literally just spent.
