Yes, the 314 will be smaller on the bottom end of the guitar, or lower guitar bout. If the 314 is too big, than the 416 will surely be as well.
As for brightness, the mic in a Flip Video is poor quality at best. While a 314, and perhaps Taylor in general will be brighter than say, a Martin, I ...
