Everyone's taste is personal. But the fact you're from the Westcoast of the States says enough. Americans are no specialists when it comes to the harder styles. Most of it is made in the Netherlands or Italy. The hardstyle scene has been growing fast and new currents developed. The hardpunch kicks from Thera are more oldskool. Producers like Zany, the R3bels and many more experienced with new sounds, kicks and that resulted in f.e. Raw Style (Like: The R3bels - Pattern 2) Some like it, some not. IMHO Headhunterz is one of the worst producers around nowadays. Too soft. Thera makes good tracks but I don't like the kicks. Nuff said
