DYBI100 is an abbreviation of "Do You Believe It 100%?" Refering to the Gospel message that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. (1 Corinthians 15:3,4)

He did this because of the sin problem that we all inherited from Adam in the beginning. Romans 5:12 says: "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned." We are all sinners and in desperate need for a Saviour: Romans 3:23 states: "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

God is a Holy God and cannot allow sin in his presence. But God the Father sent his only Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross so we wouldn't have to spend eternity in Hell. "In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:"
( 2 Thess 1:8. )

Today, we come to the cross by faith only, no works. Romans 4:5 states: "But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness." So in other words, it's NOT going to church, doing good things for people, or making Jesus the Lord of your life that saves you, although these are great things that should come after we get saved, but rather placing your faith on His finished work at Calvary is what saves you.

Ephesians 1:13,14 says that when you get saved, you get sealed. "In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."

Once saved always saved!! No matter what you do, that seal will never be broken. The phrase: "Until the redemption of the purchased possession" means (once we believe the gospel and are saved) that we are bought with a price (1 Cor. 6:20), and that we will be "caught away" some day to meet the Lord Jesus in the air ( i.e. the Rapture. 1 Thess 4:14-18. )

Do You Believe It 100%? If you don't, what are you waiting for?!

DYBI is pronounced DY (Die) BI (Bye). The primary meaning of this word is "Do You Believe It?" (Which we have already covered.) However, the secondary meaning behind it is referring to the Old Man vs. the New Man in the Bible.

Romans 6:6 states: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

So in other words, once we believe the gospel, (Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day) we become a new man. For example Colosians 3:9-10 states: "Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him." So once we get saved, we "Die" to our "old man" and become a new creation in Christ.

So we die (DY), then we can say bye (BI) to our former sin filled man. So the next time you are tempted with an opportunity to sin, whether it be lying, cheating, or caving in to doing the wrong thing, maybe because your peers do it; instead we are able to say
Bye(!) to our old man because he's not a part of us anymore! We are new creatures in Christ, let's Live It!!

The way that we all can accomplish this, is to prayerfully study the Bible, because God "speaks" to us today through His written Word(most clearly in the KJV). We can get DIRECT INFLUENCE from CHRIST HIMSELF!!! How COOL is that? So whenever possible, we are renewing our mind with the will of God, by simply studying the scriptures, rightly divided(2Timothy 2:15)and with the study keys of: Who wrote the passage? When was the passage written? To whom was it written?... (seeing that all scripture is for our learning etc., but not all is written specifically to us or about us.
Example: 'Noah's Ark," we wouldn't build an ark today just because it says to in the Bible. Although we can see the amazing display of faith that Noah portrayed, we also see from the context that it was specifically to Noah at that time, so we wouldn't apply something like specifically building an ark, much like we wouldn't apply something specifically given to Israel.)
